We are a small 12 acre farm located in Watsonville, which is in Santa Cruz County along the Central Coast of California. We began raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats in 2012. We started with three triplet doe kids (Prim, Aowen and Delilah). Our herd is still very small but growing every year with new kids being born right here on the farm. All the goats are registered with ADGA. We make up the livestock side of Lonely Mountain Farm. The farm grows organic vegetables and flowers year round and provides all of the herbs and flowers you will find in our goat milk soaps, scrubs, and salves. We use organic calendula flowers to infuse the oils that we use for making goat milk soap and healing salves. The honey we use in our soap is also harvested here on the farm. We source our beeswax from a local farmer here in northern California.
In addition to our goats, we also have three miniature donkeys that work as guardians, keeping all of the animals safe. The donkeys are very patient and well mannered with all the goats. We are also home to some very hard working farm cats, one very spoiled Siamese cat, an Australian Shepard, Border Collie, Black lab and a Great Pyrenees guardian dog.
All Goats tested negative for CAE and CL
